Our YOLK Loyalty Scheme (Yummy Ongoing Loyalty Knockdown – yes, we know it’s cheesy, but hopefully memorable!) is a cracking new way for our regular customers to save money on fresh eggs from our small flocks of hens fed on soyaāfree feed.
You top up your YOLK pre-pay balance;Ā preāorder your eggs, and collect from the kiosk whenever suits you. Preāordering means we can put your eggs up ready and keep an accurate tally of your YOLK balance.

Our best standard price is 30p per egg when buying a tray. YOLK members get even better value:

These terms explain how the YOLK preāpay scheme works. By joining YOLK, you agree to the simple conditions below. We keep everything as fair, transparent, and flexible as possible.
What YOLK Is
YOLK is a preāpayment scheme for customers who regularly buy eggs from our farm. You add credit to your YOLK balance, and we deduct eggs from that balance each time you collect an order.
YOLK balance can only be used for eggs produced by our hens.
Membership Limits
To protect the welfare of the hens and ensure we never oversell beyond what the flock can comfortably supply, YOLK membership is limited.
We may pause new signāups or operate a waiting list if demand exceeds sustainable supply.
Existing members will always be prioritised for orders.
How Your Money Is Handled
Your YOLK topāup is held safely and responsibly:
- Payments go into a separate account
- Funds are not used until the eggs have been supplied
- This ensures that if a refund is ever needed, it will always be possible
This approach keeps everything transparent and protects both you and us.
Pre Ordering
Because weāre not always on the yard, all YOLK collections must be preāordered. This allows us to put your eggs up ready and keep your YOLK balance accurate.

YOLK Balance and Pricing
Your YOLK topāup gives you a set number of eggs at a discounted rate. The current YOLK prices are:

YOLK prices may occasionally change, but members will always be notified in advance of any planned adjustments. Any balance already preāpaid will be fully honoured at the price in place before the change, so youāll never lose out on credit youāve already added.
YOLK Payments
YOLK topāups are paid by BACS. Your YOLK balance is updated once payment is received.
Using Your YOLK Balance
Your balance is counted in eggs. You can use your YOLK balance for any combination of quantities:
- half dozens
- dozens
- trays
We deduct the number of eggs you collect from your remaining balance.
No Expiry Date
Your YOLK balance does not expire. If you need to pause for any reason, your balance will be waiting for you when you return.
Refunds
If you choose to leave the scheme, or if we ever have to stop supplying eggs due to circumstances beyond our control (eg Avian flu outbreak), we will refund any unused YOLK credit proārata based on the number of eggs remaining.
Because funds are held separately until eggs are supplied, refunds will always be possible.
Availability
We do our best to fulfil all YOLK orders. Very occasionally, supply may be limited due to:
- seasonal laying changes
- flock health
- extreme weather
If this happens, weāll let you know and arrange the next available collection.
Hen Welfare & Future Growth
Our hens have space to peck, perch and play. Your YOLK membership enables us to plan for the future and keep farming with care and purpose.
Fair Use
YOLK is designed for regular household use. We reserve the right to limit unusually large or frequent orders to ensure fair access for all members.
Updates to These Terms
We may update the YOLK terms from time to time. Any changes will be shared with all YOLK members before they take effect.
